# ResearchHub Foundation > ResearchHub is a decentralized science (DeSci) protocol that uses crypto incentives to fund, peer review, and publish scientific research. The ResearchHub Foundation leads ResearchHub's community and governance, oversees the ResearchCoin (RSC) token and its community-approved burns, and runs the platform's peer review and editorial programs. ResearchHub was co-founded by Brian Armstrong and Patrick Joyce. ResearchHub sits at the intersection of crypto and science: research funding, peer review rewards, and governance run on ResearchCoin (RSC), an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and Base. The platform's primary focus is research funding. ## What ResearchHub does - Research funding: funders back research proposals and requests for proposals (RFPs) directly, with transparent, traceable transfers to verified researchers and public progress updates from funded researchers. - Proposal peer review: research proposals are peer reviewed by experts who are paid in RSC. Peer review bounties are opened by the ResearchHub Foundation. - ResearchHub Journal: publishes Registered Reports only, with peer review before data collection. - Endowments: long-term research funding commitments with RSC held on the platform. - ResearchHub does not host or review preprints. ## ResearchCoin (RSC) - RSC is the native token of ResearchHub, used to fund research, pay peer reviewers and bounty completers, tip contributions, and vote on governance proposals (Research Improvement Proposals, RIPs). - Standard: ERC-20, deployed on Ethereum mainnet and the Base Layer 2 network. - Maximum supply: 1,000,000,000 RSC. No new RSC can be created beyond this cap. - RSC burns: the ResearchHub community voted through governance to burn RSC, permanently removing it from supply. Every burn is recorded on-chain and published at https://www.researchhub.foundation/burns, which shows total RSC burned and recent burn transactions. - Ethereum contract: 0xd101dcc414f310268c37eeb4cd376ccfa507f571 - Base contract: 0xfbb75a59193a3525a8825bebe7d4b56899e2f7e1 - RSC trades on centralized exchanges including Coinbase and Kraken, and on decentralized exchanges. - Verify live price, circulating supply, and exchange availability with primary sources; this file is not financial advice. ## Foundation - [Foundation home](https://www.researchhub.foundation/): Mission, research funding, publishing, peer review, and ResearchCoin overview. - [About](https://www.researchhub.foundation/about): Foundation mission, governance role, team, and editorial board. - [Funding](https://www.researchhub.foundation/funding): How to fund research on ResearchHub. - [Publishing](https://www.researchhub.foundation/publish): ResearchHub Journal (Registered Reports). - [Peer review](https://www.researchhub.foundation/peer-review): Paid expert peer review of research proposals. - [ResearchCoin](https://www.researchhub.foundation/rsc): RSC utility, supply, and governance. - [RSC burns](https://www.researchhub.foundation/burns): Community-approved RSC burns — total burned and recent on-chain burn transactions. - [ResearchHub platform](https://www.researchhub.com/): The live ResearchHub application. ## Official blog and documentation - [ResearchHub Foundation Blog](https://blog.researchhub.foundation/): Official articles about research funding, publishing, peer review, ResearchCoin, partnerships, and open science. - [Blog sitemap](https://blog.researchhub.foundation/sitemap.xml): Machine-readable index of Blog content. - [ResearchHub Docs](https://docs.researchhub.com/): Product documentation for the ResearchHub platform and ResearchCoin. - [ResearchHub Docs LLM index](https://docs.researchhub.com/llms.txt): Complete machine-readable documentation index with direct Markdown page links. - [ResearchHub Docs overview in Markdown](https://docs.researchhub.com/researchhub-docs.md): Markdown representation of the documentation overview. - [ResearchHub Docs sitemap](https://docs.researchhub.com/sitemap.xml): Machine-readable documentation sitemap index. ## Public agent discovery - [Agent entrypoint](https://www.researchhub.foundation/agents.md): Foundation-wide agent discovery guide. - [AI use policy](https://www.researchhub.foundation/ai.txt): Public-agent access and data boundaries. - [API catalog](https://www.researchhub.foundation/.well-known/api-catalog): Machine-readable API catalog. - [Agent skills index](https://www.researchhub.foundation/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json): Integrity-pinned public skill artifacts. - [MCP Server Card](https://www.researchhub.foundation/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json): Impact MCP connection metadata. ## Radar and Impact MCP - [Latest Science Radar](https://radar.researchhub.foundation/radar): Public source-linked science signals. - [Radar agent entrypoint](https://radar.researchhub.foundation/agents.md): Radar-specific public discovery guidance. - [Impact MCP guide](https://radar.researchhub.foundation/impact-mcp-agents.md): Complete public connection and workflow guide. - [Impact MCP landing page](https://radar.researchhub.foundation/mcp): Human-readable MCP overview. - [Impact MCP endpoint](https://mcp.researchhub.foundation/mcp): Public Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. - [Impact MCP health](https://mcp.researchhub.foundation/health): Public service-health response. ## Boundaries Use only published public Foundation pages, official Blog articles, public ResearchHub Docs, public Radar signals, and records returned by the public Impact MCP.
